The Hollywood Gossip Asks: Who is Jen Bunney?

The Hills are alive with the sound of drama. That’s not new. But what is different than usual is the buzz surrounding a minor player: Jen Bunney.

For those who aren’t familiar: Jen (sometimes spelled Jenn Bunney) was the center of controversy last season when she hooked up with Brody Jenner.

Brody had just broken up with Jen’s friend, Lauren Conrad.

Jenn and Brody’s hookup, of course, was totally encouraged by LC’s “best friend” at the time, Heidi Montag, who later told Lauren she wasn’t involved. Shady!

Jen Bunney insists she got the shaft. From the producers of The Hills, that is. No word on the full extent of what went on with Brody Jenner that night.
“[The Hills] was edited for dramatic purposes,” she told E! Online in March. “Ridiculously. I’m upset, because it’s so far from what I felt happened.”
Lauren Conrad isn’t buying any of that, says Jenn.
“She won’t listen to me,” Bunney says. “She won’t believe anything I have to say. And I just think it’s unfair. I wish I had talked things out with her immediately [after they happened], because she wasn’t actually mad at first, but then Brody and them all got to her. They [escalated] the drama, because they wanted more drama on the show. And it’s like, okay, you’re going to believe Brody, who you’ve known for a few months, but you’re not going to believe me, and you’ve known me for over 10 years.”
Other rumors circulating right now about Jen Bunney:
That she is the source of the Lauren Conrad sex tape rumors, having sought revenge against her estranged friend.
That she recently had plastic surgery, following in the footsteps of her pretty plastic pal, Heidi Montag.
Blame it on the Bunney? Who knows the extent of Jen Bunney’s involvement… or surgery. We’ll we sure pass along any new gossip we hear about this Hills star, however. Drop us a line if you know anything else!

Jason: Lauren "Wasn't Happy for Me"

When Jason Wahler and his fiancée, 19-year-old USC sophomore Katja Decker-Sadowski, announced their engagement at an August 25 housewarming for their L.A. pad, one reveler wasn’t too psyched: his ex Lauren Conrad, whom he dated on and off for a year.

Despite her congratulations, “it seemed like she wasn’t happy for me,” Wahler tells Us, adding that LC showed up unannounced with Audrina Patridge and the Hills cameras.

“I wanted her to go…There was a weird tension,” says Wahler, 20.

“I have to give up a friend until it mellows out.”

For her part, Conrad, 21, tells Us, “I am really happy for Jason and wish them all the happiness.”

Lauren Conrad Is Still A Lowly Intern

Lauren Conrad was looking super smiley at LAX on Monday as she proudly showed off both her Starbucks and French Connection dress that she scored for free. While LC is definitely getting lots of perks from her internship at Teen Vogue, it turns out that she's not quite runway material, at least not yet. She put those rumors of walking in the Marc Jacobs show at NY Fashion Week to rest saying, “There has been a lot of talk that I am going to be walking in the Marc Jacobs show…and as amazing and flattering as that would be, it is unfortunately not true. There may be confusion because as part of my internship with Teen Vogue I worked at his casting this week. I am a huge fan of Marc Jacobs and I can't wait to see all his new looks when they come out in the fall."

We can't say that we're totally surprised that LC is going to have to sit this one out. That being said, getting to work with Marc Jacobs behind the scenes is a pretty sweet consolation prize.

Jason Wahler: Heidi & Spencer Suck, Need to Shut Up

Jason Wahler was in rehab when rumors of a the Lauren Conrad sex tape (he allegedly co-stars) surfaced, and he’s returning to The Hills next week to set the record straight.

“The whole thing that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt said about the sex tape thing… it’s just so annoying,” Wahler told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show.

“They just need to shut up.”

Ooooh. Fight! Fight! Fight!

After rumors spread that Lauren Conrad made a sex tape with Wahler, who she dated in two different intervals, LC blamed Montag and her fiancé, Pratt, while denying she ever made such a video.

“The most frustrating part is that they are such lowlifes that they have to come up with stuff to try and ruin other people,” says Wahler. “It’s just frustrating.”

Speaking on Seacrest’s show to promote his guest appearance September 10, Wahler - who just got engaged to Katja Decker-Sadowski - denies the sex tape ever existed and says he regards Lauren Conrad as a close friend.

“Lauren is still a good friend. She was always there to be supportive and stuff,” Wahler said. “Things definitely get stirred up on Monday night’s episode. You’ll have to wait and see what happens.”

Not to worry, though. When asked if he hooks up with LC, though, Wahler doesn’t leave us in suspense: “No, I don’t.”

Last time Splash caught up with Brody Jenner he was lapping up the camera attention at LAX night club in Las Vegas. Brody, who isn’t really famous for anything other than dating young Hollywood starlets, or pretending to date woman in the case of Nicole Richie, was spotted chilling out in L.A yesterday. Wearing an Ozzy Osbourne t-shirt Jenner gave us all an insight into his music taste. Rock on!

Designer Marc Jacobs to Join the Cast of The Hills?

Apparently, the models who've signed on to walk the Marc Jacobs New York show are pissed -- According to the NY Post, models will now have to sign releases before they can appear on the catwalk because Marc's hired Hills star Lauren Conrad to work on his show! Whatever could they be pissed about? It's not like there's anything they wouldn't want seen going on behind the scenes!

Anyway, we can't wait for the "very special Hills episode" where Lauren and the designer become BFFs...then quickly have a falling out when Lauren spots Marc coming onto her ex, Jason Wahler at Fashion Week party. Things go from bad to worse when, just to spite her, Marc agrees to design Heidi's wedding gown for her fake marriage to Spencer and hires Whitney as his design assistant!

Seriously, what the f*ck is Marc Jacobs doing on that show? I love me some Hills, but isn't he better than that?

Brody’s ex-girlfriend and current pal, Lauren Conrad, revealed on The Hills after-show on MTV Overdrive this week that Jenner’s doc has been checking out TMZ to make sure the party boy has been wearing the cast on his hand.

That’s dedication! Jenner, as shown on The Hills, broke his finger back in July while playing beach football with LC, Frankie Delgado and other bud's.



Meanwhile, it’s common knowledge that Heidi Montag got some plastic surgery in the form of an unnecessary boob job and nose job, but The Hills rumor mill is currently abuzz with people saying her pal, Jen Bunney, followed suit.

One of the best exchanges of this season was when Heidi met up with Jen Bunney, and the first thing out of Heidi’s mouth was, “Wow, you look so different.” Clearly, this Bunney and her plastic surgeon did a little working together in the off-season.

Way to go Jen. Or is it Jenn? We have no idea.

LC and Frankie: Table for Two!

Usually, LC and Frankie Delgado (Brody Jenner's right hand man) are accompanied by an entourage, but last night at II Sole it was just the two of them.

Frankie's not just a wingman, he has his own life!"The Hills" pair were friendly with paparazzi, but looked extremely uncomfortable. Camera shy? Lauren, being the junior businesswoman she is, told photogs they, "Gotta watch 'The Hills'" if they want to know how she and Heidi are getting along.

Evidently, there's some feud going on.

lLC Models for MJ

Lauren Conrad continued to reap the benefits of working in the fashion industry by showing off a few French Connection dresses in Malibu over the weekend. We're especially loving her little drape-backed number, which you can learn more about here. LC seems to be turning into a hot commodity in the fashion world. The lucky girl is even getting a chance to walk the line at the coveted Marc Jacobs show during fashion week.

This could be another reason why Heidi tried to steal some of the spotlight by wedding dress shopping. On Monday we were still more interested in the back-on romance between Lauren and Brody over Heidi's boring lunch with Jen Bunney.

Brody and Spencer’s “Dude-vorce” Reaches Mach 3

Lauren and Heidi who?!?! This week’s episode of The Hills introduced a new dueling duo: Brody Jenner and Spencer Pratt!

Now friendly with ex, Brody, Lauren finally helped her on-again, off-again boy toy realize what she's known for a while: that life is, in fact, much better without the notorious Speidi. Backtracking a bit, LC got cozy with the prince of Malibu just as pal Audrina and former flame Justin Bobby drifted apart – and got back together (shocker!).

How does happy homemaker Heidi find out that the Brody-Lauren romance is back on? From her boss, club promoter Brent Bolthouse. At a staff meeting!

Miss Montag rushes home to tell her beau the news that their respective besties are hooking up, and, in typical Spencer fashion, her boy cannot believe the news! How could Brody betray their bond, Spencer wonders. No matter to Brody, however, as he wines and dines Lauren at Les Deux before she boldly invites herself over to his condo. Atta girl!

Back in Audrina land, the queen of indecisiveness runs back to JB, to find he’s hesitant to put labels on the relationship this time. In fact, he says he wants them to become “best friends” before lovers. We say ew and give it a month. Lauren’s verdict? “[Audrina] wasn’t being over-sensitive. He was being over-asshole!”

Marc Jacobs has hired Lauren Conrad to walk in his upcoming show for New York Fashion Week.

And, Heidi Montag isn’t the only one pissed. Several models are upset that MJ has chosen The Hills star for his show.

“Marc hired Lauren Conrad to do his show, so now all the real models have to sign releases for TV if they want to be in his show - which of course they do,” says one insider. “They are very put out that Marc succumbed to putting on one of ‘those shows’ - you know, the publicity shows.”

TMZ Gets Brody in Trouble.

Brody Jenner's physical therapist has found a new way to keep tabs on her patient -- by watching him on TMZ!

Lauren Conrad called into "The Hills" after-show on MTV Overdrive, where she revealed Jenner's PT has been checking out TMZ to see if Brody's been wearing his cast. Busted!

Jenner broke his finger in July while playing beach football with bud Frankie Delgado.

Lauren Conrad dines out at Il Sole restaurant in West Hollywood with Frankie Delgado (Brody Jenner’s sidekick) on Tuesday night.

Wearing a pair of uber-tight jeans, Lauren, who has just launched her own fashion line, waited with Frankie for the valet to bring their car to the front.

In fashion news, Lauren is continuing to make it big. Marc Jacobs has tapped The Hills star to walk runway for the designer but some of the veteran models are apparently a little tiffed.

“Marc hired Lauren Conrad to do his show, so now all the real models have to sign releases for TV if they want to be in his show - which of course they do,” said a NY Post insider.

“They are very put out that Marc succumbed to putting on one of ‘those shows’ - you know, the publicity shows.”

The Hills Recap: Spencer Broke Up With Me!

“This is like… I feel like we’re back in high school with this! How long have I been friends with you…. What a bitch!” - Brody Jenner

Ah yes, the sage wisdom of the great Brody Jenner. Try as he did to talk sense into childhood friend Spencer Pratt, he couldn’t it get it through the oily one’s head to cool it in regards to Brody’s rekindled friendship with Lauren Conrad. As a result, as Brody himself said, “Spencer broke up with me!”

That was the focal point of last night’s new episode of The Hills, in which Lauren Conrad helped her ex-boyfriend (and possible friend with benefits) realize that life can actually be (gasp) a lot more fun without Spencer Pratt.

A stunning revelation, we know.

At the episode’s onset, however, the focus was on Audrina Patridge and former flame Justin-Bobby (real name Justin Brescia) who had drifted apart in the last episode, only to get back together again in a true reality TV stunner.

Justin-Bobby tells Audrina that he’s “hesitant to put labels on things” and wants them to become “best friends” before lovers, then accuses Audrina of being too sensitive.

Riiiight. Lauren Conrad’s take? “[Audrina] wasn’t being over-sensitive. He was being over-a$$hole!” Said as only Lauren can. You tell her, girl!

Shortly thereafter, at work (yes, she has a job) Heidi Montag learns that Brody and Lauren have been hanging out again from her boss, club promoter Brent Bolthouse… at a staff meeting. Yeah, MTV doesn’t stage this show at all.

Heidi was taken aback, and in typical fashion, Spencer reacted to the news with a sneer. Betrayal. It hurts. Almost as much as having to stare at Spencer Pratt’s scraggly-ass blonde beard for much of the show. Take a shave, bro.

Meanwhile, at Les Deux, Brody and Lauren party - with her girl Lo and his boy Frankie Delgado. LC then invites herself over for an “after-party” at his condo. Both deny hooking up the next day, calling it just a “friendly sleepover.”

Regardless, they’re on good terms, and that’s plenty enough for Spencer to shun his childhood pal. When Brody dials Spencer up to shoot the $h!t, Pratt rips him a new one for fraternizing with the enemy - and says that makes him the enemy.

Brody tries to explain, and calm him down, but it’s a moot point. As we all know, there’s no rationalizing with this conniving, insecure, acne-riddled Devil.

The Hills: the New Sex and the City?

The celebrity gossip fiends over at The Gawker caught the lovely Lauren Conrad of The Hills semi-fame rocking the personalized name necklace, a la Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City.

This is proof positive of that site’s theory that The Hills is the new Sex and The City. We wouldn’t argue that. A B-grade, quasi-reality TV version for a younger set, maybe, but still, you can’t deny the similarities. Here’s LC a la Carrie B...

Whether it’s the new Sex and the City or not, one thing’s for sure - MTV insiders say that The Hills is “the only thing holding up the channel at the moment.”

It gets over a million viewers per episode (strong for any cable show), and online ratings and streams are through the roof. But everything else over at MTV? Not so hot.

All of the programming meetings are about doing ‘triage’ on the schedule, though America’s Next Top Model marathons are helping to stop the bleeding a little.

Lauren Conrad Takes Us Behind the Scenes.

The lovely Lauren Conrad of The Hills is more than just a beautiful girl. She’s a beautiful girl with a serious knack for the fashion industry!

She may “date like a guy,” but LC, who has her own fashion line coming out this month and recently designed her own dress for the Teen Choice Awards, doesn’t fool around when it comes to clothes. Us Weekly goes behind the scenes of the making of Lauren’s dress for the awards show in this awesome picture gallery

“I first had the idea and gave it to the pattern maker,” says Lauren Conrad, shown here at her design partner’s Santa Monica, Calif., office August 7.

“I can sketch and sew. It’s what I’ve always wanted to do,” The Hills and Laguna Beach star says of her self-titled clothing line coming out in September.

LC’s red carpet rule #1: “When you have 100 flashbulbs on you, make sure fabric is not see-through!” It’s sage advice. Many celebrities wouldn’t ever follow it.

And: “A good red carpet dress is something you’re comfortable in. You can strut!” says Lauren, who won Teen Choice Female Reality/Variety star.

Want to know how Lauren got into shape?

When I was younger, I was really active and always playing sports," says Lauren "LC" Conrad. "Then, the last couple years, I've just been so busy I haven't had time."

But four months ago, the 5-foot-6 Conrad decided to get fit again to feel better about slipping into her favorite Vitamin A and Pucci bikinis this season.

Enter Equinox trainer Jarett Del Bene, who created a shape-up plan for Conrad and her roommate, The Hills costar Audrina Patridge, that slimmed Conrad down 6 pounds — to 119.

Lauren Conrad's Diet Conrad consumes 1,500 calories daily in six meals on the plan provided by Del Bene. "It's taped up on our fridge," she says of the fish-and-veggie — filled menu. "On cheat day, I usually eat carbs."

Breakfast LC likes her coffee mixed with skim milk. A whole-grain waffle and 2 teaspoons of peanut butter give her calcium and protein. Other options: oatmeal or a bowl of Kashi cereal, both with skim milk.

Lunch A fiber- and protein-rich Cobb salad: turkey bacon, egg whites, veggies, avocado and balsamic dressing. Two more ideas: chunk light tuna and feta cheese on a bed of lettuce or a grilled chicken salad.

Midday Noshing on half a cup of low-fat cottage cheese and 10 raw almonds keeps energy up. A low-fat yogurt and seven walnuts will also do the trick.

Dinner A 4-to-6-ounce serving of a lean fish like tilapia or chicken breast is packed with protein. And salad or roasted vegetables on the side will help fill the stomach.

Lauren Conrad's Workout Twice a week for an hour, Conrad lifts weights and runs on the treadmill. On off days, she hikes for 45 minutes in L.A.'s Runyon Canyon.

All the effort has been worth it, she says: "The first place I lost weight was my little belly… Now I'm happy about my arms because they were a little mushy!"
